I have chosen to commit my time to the school until the end of the academic year. At that time, I will reassess.
I will be starting a number of new initiatives. These apply to the Xavier school only, but I leave this post open to the Stark school as well, in case they wish to do something similar.
Mission Analysis Seminar: To be conducted as needed. The first one will be Sunday night and will cover the recent rescue mission at Weapon X. It is open to all, but participants are particularly encouraged to attend.*
Emergency Broadcast Communications: We now have a system in place to quickly send messages to all staff and students simultaneously via journal, e-mail, phone, text message, and instant message. This will only be used in case of emergencies. You have already been enrolled in this initiative.
Self-Defense Training: In spite of the name, this will cover offense as well as defense. While safety precautions will be taken, it is difficult to engage in this subject matter without likelihood of injury. Parental permission is required to take this. Open to all.
Intelligence Gathering and Analysis: This team will be responsible for discovering and assessing possible threats to the school. While there is a training component, applicants are already expected to have advanced computer skills. See me to apply.
Research and Development: This team will be responsible for inventing, creating, and maintaining physical resources such as equipment, vehicles, and school security systems. I have already ordered military grade armor and radios, but a school such as this one has special needs not accommodated by ready-made products. This team will fill that gap. While there is a training component, applicants are already expected to have advanced engineering or computer skills. See me to apply.

My name is Tessa Ristić. I am the woman with the facial scars staying at the Xavier school. Professor Charles Xavier has invited me to join the staff. I am still considering whether I wish to accept. I write this in the interest of soliciting the opinions of those with a stake in my decision, primarily the staff and students of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, but also to a lesser extent the Howard Stark School of Tomorrow, who I understand we would be collaborating with.
I am a mutant. My primary power is mental acuity. At the time of writing this, I am simultaneously researching reactions to the Weapon X incursion, monitoring the security feeds, programming an emergency notification system for the schools, reviewing the adjustments to Cerebro, reading your high school curriculum, and learning Korean. I learn new skills and information extremely quickly and retain it perfectly. I have extensive experience in security matters, both as an analyst and in the field. I believe it is Charles Xavier's intention that I lead one of your new training squads, as well as teach pragmatic skills to survive in a hostile environment. In other words, I would teach you the skills you are likely to need the next time Weapon X or a similar group comes for you.
So I ask, what would you have me do if I stayed? |

Greetings. My name is Sage, and I am planning a set of missions for the Brotherhood. Please volunteer below. If you have other missions to suggest, do that as well.
1. Mutant Prison Breaks—the mutant prisons in the United States are getting full again. We need at least one team to go through and set our wrongfully imprisoned brethren free.
Freakshow, Copycat
2. Supply Run—A group of pirates have been interfering with our supplies. A team will need to neutralize the problem and return with the supplies. The pirates operate out of Somalia.

This is the first post of the new journal server. The server is secure and the data is highly encrypted. You may talk freely. This was difficult to do. If you give out your passwords, my wrath will have no bounds.
Charles Xavier has been arrested. The school has been destroyed. We have all been declared enemies of the state. Get out of the country.
Most of us are going to Canada. If you would like to join us, I will send you directions. If another border is closer, the most important thing is to get out of the country, then make your way to Canada. If you are trapped or otherwise need help, say so and I will coordinate.
